Staff from the MBM Institute are currently teach courses at Wichita State University designed to immerse students in the underpinnings of Market-Based Management through readings drawn from economics, history, psychology, and other disciplines. In addition to a rigorous reading list, the courses feature numerous case studies, presentations by top executives from Koch Industries, and economic experiments designed to demonstrate market concepts to students.
In addition to reaching students through in-depth university courses, Institute staff will provide MBM education and training to hundreds of other customers, including businesspeople, teachers, and a variety of community, non-profit, and government personnel. By helping these audiences understand how to incorporate economic thinking into their decision-making and stimulate within their organizations the entrepreneurial value-creation found in free markets, the Institute advances societal well-being at all levels.
